To join Peyton's team, sign up to run either the full marathon, half marathon, or the marathon relay at www.runtherock.com When people register, they will be asked if they are a member of a training group. There is a drop down menu listing a number of local running groups. People running on Peytie's team can click on "Other", and then type in Peytie's Peeps in the box that opens up. This will help Scottish Rite know who is running for P :).
To show your support and be a member of the team, you simply need to email Mikell that you need a Peytie's Peeps t-shirt and your size, and wear it while you run in the race or cheer from the sidelines. Our sweet friends at RoxWell Downhole Tools underwrote our shirts this year. So just email mikell@grandecom.net or peytiespeeps@gmail.com if you need a shirt. Orders need to made by Tuesday, November 1, 2011.
Welcome to Peyton Abney's blog supporting Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. Peyton is a patient in the Rainbow Clinic for developmental disabilities, patient in the Dental Clinic, and had surgery in November of 2009 on her heels. It is an amazing place, and we feel very blessed that Peyton is a patient. All of the services provided to Scottish Rite's patients are at no cost to the families. The hospital helps thousands of deserving children, and we hope you will help in any way you can.
